Taking out from Japan
Pets are parts of your family. Please don't carry out dependent on others. Leaving by flight together is the best.
However, some airlines do not prepare the rooms for pets, or the rooms are very limited, so we recommend you to complete reservation of the flight a little earlier (at least one month before your departure)

Leaving Japan: Dogs & Cats
When taking a dog or cat abroad, the animal must meet both the exit conditions for Japan and the entry conditions for the country to which you are traveling.

In order to leave Japan, animals must undergo inspection at the Animal Quarantine Station for rabies (and in case of dogs, rabies and leptospirosis). The inspection is conducted during export quarantine of within 12 hours, and as it is a clinical health check, it should not take that long provided that no abnormalities are discovered.
Nevertheless, it is recommended that you contact the Animal Quarantine Station in advance (at least seven days before traveling).

Entering the country you are traveling to:
Please check the conditions for entering the country you are traveling to in advance with that country's Embassy or quarantine authorities.
